Are you looking for similar products to Olaplex but for a better price? For those that don’t know Olaplex is a line of hair repair treatments that claim to reconnect broken hair bonds. The products contain an active ingredient called bis-aminopropyl diglycol dimaleate which claims to reconnect broken disulfide sulfur bonds in the hair. It is meant to be used on hair that has been damaged from too much colouring, and has achieved a cult status for its amazing results. Since Olaplex is quite expensive however I went in search of some Olaplex alternatives and Olaplex dupes!

I’ve been using Olaplex now for the past four months and it’s the best conditioner I’ve ever tried. It leaves your hair strong, manageable and glossy and completely eliminates frizz. It also far easier to style your hair after use. There is one drawback however. One small bottle is £26, and if you want to buy the shampoo that goes with it that’s over £50 just for a shampoo and conditioner treatment! I went to find out whether there were any similar products to Olaplex but for a better price!

Here are three similar products to Olaplex that are less expensive:

1. pH Bonder by Redken Post-Service Perfector

This is a great Olaplex dupe! The pH Bonder by Redken Post-Service Perfector helps to maintain your hair’s natural pH. It protects your hair’s bonds and reduces strand breakage during colouring. It’s been described by some as a “miracle treatment” and one of the similar products to Olaplex used in hair salons. Click to check the current price.

It’s available on Amazon and is a great Olaplex alternative. Click to check the current price

4. OGX Bonding Plex Leave In Conditioner for Damaged Hair

The OGX Bonding Plex range restores damaged hair by creating billions of new hair bonds. When looking at the OGX Bonding Plex vs Olaplex this definitely doesn’t produce the same amazing results, however if money is an issue this is the cheapest Olaplex alternative I’ve found. It’s also received hundreds of positive reviews and five star ratings on Amazon.
