Is Paul Mitchell Curly Girl approved? Out of the 43 Paul Mitchell products I looked at, 14 were Curly Girl approved, and 29 weren’t suitable for the CG Method. I have listed all the products I reviewed in this post.
The Curly Girl Method is a hair care routine that comes from Curly Girl The Handbook by Lorraine Massey. It recommends haircare products that are free from ingredients that could either build up on curly hair, or dry it out.
For a product to be Curly Girl Approved it must be free from sulfates, silicones that are not water-soluble, alcohols or witch hazel (unless it’s marked as alcohol-free), soap ingredients including potassium hydroxide and lye, and waxes that are not water-soluble.
