Is Innersense Curly Girl Approved? Fortunately most Innersense products are approved for the Curly Girl Method. Out of the 20 Innersense products I looked at, 17 of them were curly girl friendly. This posts lists all of the Innersense products that I researched.
The Curly Girl Method is a hair care routine that comes from Curly Girl The Handbook by Lorraine Massey. Products that are approved for the method are free from ingredients that could either build up on curly hair, or dry out the strands.
All Curly Girl Approved products are free from:
- Sulfates
- Silicones
- Alcohols
- Witch hazel (unless it’s marked as alcohol-free)
- Potassium hydroxide and lye
- Waxes

No, all Innersense products are free from: phthalates, ethoxylates, sulfates, silicones, 1,4 dioxane, parabens, petro compounds, propylene and butylene glycol, PEG, MEA, TEA, MIA, EDTA artificial dyes and synthetic fragrances.
