Are you looking for the best cruelty free shampoo brands to buy in the UK? I have done the research for you and found you the top shampoos that are all 100% vegan!
While it is illegal to test cosmetic products on animals in the UK, some companies still sell products to China where testing on animals is required by law. When a brand uses the term “cruelty free” on their packaging, what they mean is they don’t sell to China.
It is also important to note that cruelty free doesn’t necessarily mean vegan. There are many shampoos claiming to be natural, organic and cruelty free but still contain animal derived ingredients such as keratin. Keratin is a protein which comes from the ground up hooves, hair or horns of animals.
I have compiled a list of the best cruelty free shampoo brands which do not sell products to any country that tests on animals.
This post is about the best cruelty free shampoo brands in the UK for all hair types and budgets!
