This is a review of Indeed Labs Hydraluron Intense Moisture Lotion.
I bought Hydraluron Intense Moisture Lotion after trying the Hydraluron Moisture Jelly and the original Hydraluron serum. The results I saw were actually very surprising to me because I never noticed a particularly huge effect with the original serum.
I am aware the product has got something of a cult following but for some reason it didn’t appear to make much of a difference to my skin. The lotion however is another story. The difference I saw was almost overnight and I’ve been using it ever since.
Indeed Labs Hydraluron Intense Moisture Lotion Review
The Indeed Labs Hydraluron Intense Moisture Lotion is very different from the moisture jelly and serum in that it feels like a silky lotion. The texture is very different from the jelly and serum, both of which are clear and a bit sticky.
The lotion can also be used as a serum with another moisturiser on top or as a mosituriser on its own. I did try using the Hydraluron serum underneath the lotion but that didn’t seem to work for me and caused piling which was so bad I almost had to wash my face and start again. Perhaps I was applying too much of either product? If you have any thoughts on this please comment below.
My experience of this product has been that it caused a noticeable difference in the elasticity of my skin, almost more that any other product I’ve used actually. My skin felt plumper and more hydrated. Interestingly it also seemed to clear up any blemishes I had. This may be because it hydrated my skin so well that it stop over producing oil (dehydrated skin can sometimes be the cause of acne if the dehydration is causing your skin to produce too much oil)

I had a look on the Indeed Labs website at the ingredients in this product compared to the serum and this product contains high, medium and low molecular weights of hyaluronic acid whereas the serum only contains low weight. See the image below on the differences between each.
Unlike the Hydraluron serum the Hydraluron Intense Moisture Lotion provides a moisture barrier on the surface of the skin. It contains copper, magnesium and zinc, which protect the skin, and also squalene which softens the skin.
This has become one of the products that is always on my shelf. It is great in the cold weather as you can really feel it protecting your skin. It’s also great if you’re using products which may cause dryness or irritation such as acids or vitamin C. In the past I’ve had dryness after using vitamin C but using this product on top of the Vitamin C has been great because I haven’t experienced any dryness at all. My overall verdict is:
Pros and Cons
Pros: Amazing mositurising effect which is noticeable from day one. Protects skin in cold weather. Plumps the skin and reduces lines. Feels silky and luxurious
Cons: It’s in an opaque bottle which means I can’t see how much is left!
