Yes, the Aveeno Fresh Greens Shampoo is sulfate free. The cleansing agent in the shampoo is Sodium C14-16 Olefin Sulfonate, which is a milder alternative to sulfates.

How to Use the Aveeno Volumising + Fresh Greens Shampoo
To use the shampoo, apply a small amount to wet hair and massage into the hair and scalp. Even though the shampoo is sulfate free, I found that it lathered very well. After you have massaged the shampoo well into the hair, rinse it thoroughly.

The first ingredient in the ingredients list is Colloidal Oatmeal Extract. This ingredient is in all Aveeno products, and has been shown in clinical trials to strengthen the skin barrier and reduce dryness.
