This is a Beauty Pie skincare review of the Qi Energy Range.
This is a skin care review of the Qi Energy Range by Beauty Pie. This has become one of my favourite ranges by Beauty Pie, especially the moisturiser which is one of the best Beauty Pie products I’ve tried.
Beauty Pie Skincare Review
Beauty Pie Qi Energy Moisturiser
This has become my favourite moisturiser, out of all the Beauty Pie products I’ve tried so far, mainly due to the texture. It’s very runny but it’s light and absorbs well into the skin. Compared with Beauty Pie’s other mositurisers it is much more runny that the one in the Japan Fusion range or the Super Healthy Skin range. You need to be a bit careful actually when you first take the lid off because the texture is so runny I almost spilt some on the floor!
Despite being much lighter and thinner than the other moisturisers though I found that this moisturiser is very effective at hydrating and protecting the skin. You can feel that it forms a barrier on the skin and stays on all day or all night. The bouncy feeling on your skin is still there hours later.
The smell is very unique and I’ve read many reviews which have been negative about it but I actually like it. It does sort of smell like stale cigarette smoke but I find there is something a bit comforting about the smell.
When I’m using skin care products it’s important to me that there is some kind of “pampering effect”. I like them to feel luxurious. To me this product does feel like an excellent quality cream. When you rub the moisturiser between your fingers you can feel the quality of it.
The current price is £9.91 for members or £40 for non members. For members I think this product is a great bargain.
Verdict on Beauty Pie Qi Energy Moisturiser
Beauty Pie Qi Energy Serum
The first thing I thought when this product arrived it that you really get a lot in the bottle. At the moment it’s £7.40 for members and £25 for non members and the product will clearly last a long time.
The consistency, like the moisturiser, is much more runny that the other Beauty Pie serums I have tried. This serum is very watery and comes in a dropper. I found that it’s slightly oily and like the moisturiser forms an immediate barrier effect on the skin. It’s so moisturising that your skin feels well moisturised and hydrated even before you put the moisturiser on top.
The smell is exactly the same as the moisturiser, as it is across the whole Qi Energy range. Something about it reminds me of the 90s (in a good way).
I’m not sure if I saw a noticeable difference the next day when using this serum like I did with the Japan Fusion serum, but my skin definitely feels well hydrated after using it. I don’t think this will become one of my favourite serums but I am enjoying using it.

Beauty Pie Qi Energy Eye Cream
The eye cream to me feels like a thicker version of the moisturiser. I didn’t notice a huge difference. I paid £6.80 as a member and for non members it is £40. Sorry Beauty Pie but I wasn’t massively blown away by this. I liked it for all the reasons I liked the moisturiser but as an eye cream I couldn’t find anything special about it. I might be a bit of an eye cream snob though as I expect big things from my eye cream. I’d say if you just want a nice general eye cream then this is worth trying but it was nothing special for me.

Beauty Pie Qi Energy Sleep Mask
This product I found was too oily to use as a night mask. If I put it on at night it would end up coming off all over my pillow. Instead I have started using this as a mask I wear round the house when I get home from work or over the weekend if I’m home blogging! I found it worked well over acids to stop my skin drying out. I noticed some difference in my skin after using it but it wasn’t a huge effect. I think it’s definitely worth having a tube of this in the house but it’s not one of my favourites.
The texture feels very silky and moisturising and I like that it makes your skin feel comforted and refreshed. Overall I love the Qi Energy Range by Beauty Pie and this sleep mask is a great product but for me it just didn’t work well at night! It’s £7.22 for members and £45 for non members so it’s a great price for a mask and you get a lot in the tube.
